Larry received some information from Jim Paronto on a Defensive Conference scenario

Situation:  "May a defensive conference have one coach visit at the mound and another coach visit with the defense at the same time?"

Ruling:  Only one coach on the field for a defensive conference. Offensive conferences, that occur at about the same time as the defensive are not charged to the
offense and when offensive conference is called by itself, normally only one coach is involved.  Tell your umpires to "not allow two coaches on the field at the same time."
